This week was very productive. We were able to finish our entire project and present at the CBL forum. At the CBL forum we gave a speech about our project about ten times. Each time we presented we changed our presentation little by little to better it until it was perfect in the end. We think we did very well at the forum, we were complimented many times on our very unique but very necessary idea. We are preparing to make our video and we are excited for the magnificent end of this project. This week we almost finished our poster, we have the graphs, pictures and are finishing the text by Monday. This week we sorted out a plan to try to keep the teachings for generations. We are getting ready for our "stand" where we are presenting and thinking of something to draw others to are stand. We are fixing up the slides to make them look even better and fixing the grammar.
This week ( week 3 ) we were able to finish our slides on the history of the LGBTQA+ community. On Wednesday the dean Ann-Marie was able to come to our class. She offered us an opportunity to have our presentation on Thursday. Although we were unprepared at the time we decided to take the amazing opportunity that was given to us. We worked very hard on Wednesday night and came to school Thursday ready to present to the seventh grade class. We collected a lot of data that we are preparing to analyze in the following week along with some worth while feedback about our presentation. To some this week up, we started out behind the other groups but we were able to push through and persevere and get ahead. We are planning to finish our poster and finish analyzing our data from the presentation in the following week.
This week we started our presentation and our slides while Malcolm (the man in the middle) e-mailed the dean to send out a survey about what people know of the history of lgbtqa+. We have started to get even more specific and researching even more about certain people who helped the gay rights movement over the last 100 years. This about concludes what we have done over the past week.
